Joe Zappia oversees LVW’s global investment operations, guiding our wealth management team that is responsible for equity research, investment manager selection and portfolio construction. Joe serves as the lead portfolio manager of the LVW Rising Dividend Strategy.

In addition to managing money, Joe is a thoughtful writer who blogs and podcasts on a wide range of investment topics. A number of his insights have been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, The Financial Times and Institutional Investor magazine.

Before becoming a Principal at LVW, Joe served as Managing Director of Investments for Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessor firms. He began at A. G. Edwards in 1987, after graduating from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. Joe earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Joe is passionate about physical and mental fitness and enjoys cooking, golfing and listening to great music. He and his family live in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.
