Kim Pugliese, MBA

LVW is very happy to have Kim Pugliese back as a Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer. She will once again bring her proven leadership and management skills to our Investment Committee, as well as LVW’s finances, regulatory compliance and administration.

Kim Pugliese’s experience ensures the firm’s operations are robust and scalable, and allows the partners at LVW Advisors to keep a singular focus on providing excellent client service – the drivers of the firm’s growth. She is passionate about leading and empowering the team to be their best, as well as recruiting top-tier talent and strengthening LVW’s vibrant culture and operations. Kim was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Technicolor Corporation’s Intellectual Property Licensing and Litigation division—leading the divestiture of its patent licensing business (valued at $475M).

In 2014, Kim became the Director of Intellectual Property Licensing for Xerox, focused on monetization of new technologies. She also spent a large part of her career at Eastman Kodak in various finance, operations and business development leadership positions. As Director of Patent Licensing & Transactions, she championed the development, launch and management of the Kodak Imaging System and Software licensing program.

Kim was also Vice President of Kodak Ventures Group, where she built the team responsible for analyzing investments and negotiating and structuring deals; in addition, she managed Kodak’s multi-million dollar venture capital portfolio.

Kim holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance and corporate accounting from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School. Her undergraduate degree is in mathematical economics from Colgate University.

Kim enjoys biking, hiking, pickleball, traveling with her husband, and is the proud parent of two very accomplished young adults. She is a volunteer with Hospice Visiting Nurse Services and a past board member of High Tech Rochester, now NextCorps.
